Lucille (Gabbei) Davidson, 91, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2014. She was surrounded by loved ones at the Country Terrace in Poynette.

Lucy married Arthur E. Davidson on October 16, 1943. They were blessed with a daughter, Shirley Dahnert, of Portage. Lucy is survived by her daughter Shirley; grandchildren Kevin (Linda) Dahnert & Kay Ann (Kevin) Fiedler; Great Granddaughters Marleigh, Makenna, Megan & Callie. Also survived by a sister-in-law Delores Davidson; Nephews James Davidson, Steve Gabbei & David Gabbei; Nieces Sue (Stuart) Varner & Karen (Al) Hudson.

Lucy’s family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all of her caregivers at County Terrace for the extra special care & love they provided while Lucy lived there. Also thank you to the caregivers from Agrace Hospice for their attention & excellent care they provided to both Lucy & her family.  A very special thank you to all of Lucy’s friends for their kindness, prayers, friendship & warm wishes. Lucy truly appreciated all of the people in her life & loved each one dearly.

Lucy’s memorial service will be on Sunday October 5, 2014 at Portage United Methodist Church, Pastor Thomas Countryman officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00, with a service following at 1:00. Burial at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette, following the memorial service.
