Jane M. Krumberger

POYNETTE  --  Jane M. Krumberger, age 92, was born to eternal life, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the UW Hospital in Madison.  

Jane was born on May 14, 1921 in Racine, the daughter of Andrew and Frances (Palumbo) Recupero.  She was married to William J. Krumberger, who preceded her in death.  Jane was singularly devoted to her family and friends.  She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting for her children and grandchildren.  Jane loved to cook and her greatest joy was seen when she was entertaining family and friends.

Jane is survived by her five children, Joanne Krumberger, William Krumberger-Steinway, Kathryn (Rick) Safford, Robert Krumberger, and Stephen (Lori) Krumberger;  her grandchildren, Geoffrey and Gina Safford, Adam and Jacob Krumberger, Nicole and Micah Krumberger;  her brother, Santo (Millie) Recupero;  her sisters, Mary Recupero and Frances Gilchrist;  other relatives and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, her daughter, Patricia Louise, her sisters, Ann and Rose, and her brothers, Russell and Tony.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 655 S. Main St, in Poynette, with Fr. Raymond Dischler presiding.  Private burial will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
