Daniel R. Baker

DEKORRA TOWNSHIP – Daniel R. Baker, age 27, of Dekorra Township passed away as a result of a car accident on Monday, March 26, 2018.

Daniel was born on April 13, 1990, in Madison, the son of Timothy and Tina (DeGroot) Baker.  He loved music and wrote his own, played guitar, drums, and keyboard.  He was a great son, brother and amazing uncle.  Sylas and Daelynn will miss him dearly, as we all will.  He enjoyed spending time with his many friends, playing disc golf, bowling or playing music.  Heaven got a great angel.

He is survived by his father, Tim Baker of Ishpeming, MI; mother, Tina Baker of Poynette; grandmothers, Annette Baker of Reedsburg, Beverly DeGroot of Stoughton; brother, Bob Baker of Poynette; niece and nephew, Daelynn and Sylas Baker of Poynette; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Baker and Robert DeGroot.  

A memorial visitation will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, Wisconsin, on   Thursday, March 29, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be private.
