Kristina Marie Glassmaker

PORTAGE – Our precious Kristina Marie Glassmaker, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving families.

The Zepecki Glassmaker family was blessed to share Kristina through her journey of life. The cooperation of two families made it possible for Kristina to live a beautiful and full life that benefited all those around her. We are better because of her. Two families were built through Kristina’s strength, cooperation and love. Kristina marched to the beat of her own drum. Kristina is and will always be the light of our families. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, her love of Hello Kitty, being the best card-giver, her love of McDonald’s and the favorite daughter of Daniel and Karen Zepecki, Jaci and Chuck Carroll, and Dan Glassmaker. Kristina spent many years employed at Northwoods. She was our #1 Special Olympian medal winner. She will be missed for her 8 o’clock morning phone calls, her 3:35 call to Jenny for a “sam-ich”, her evening Face Time calls to Mom (Jaci), as well as her independent bus trips to Illinois to visit her other family and countless Illinois holidays spent with her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Kristina is survived by her adoring mothers, Karen Zepecki and Jaci Carroll; her forever sisters, Elizabeth (John), Jennifer (Mark), Kathryn (Phil), Theresa (Marc), Mary (Earl), Jessica (Andreas); brothers, Matt (Ann), Chris (Wei), Kevin (Felicia) and John (Judy). She was preceded in death by her biggest fans and fathers, Daniel and Chuck; brother, Pat; and nephew, Joseph. She is further survived by countless nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

We would like to give a special thank you to Northwoods Inc. for giving her the opportunity to make a living. We are also grateful to the ARC of Greater Columbia County and the staff at Village House for giving her the chance to live independently. Thank you to Agrace Hospice for their undivided attention, care, and love to our Kristina and our families.

Kristina was our forever happy face and biggest hugger. Everyone should have a Krissy in their life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portage, Wisconsin, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl presiding. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
