Allen LeRoy Gordee

POYNETTE—Allen LeRoy Gordee, 66, of Poynette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 2:00 a.m. at UW Hospital in Madison.

Allen was born in Greenwood, WI, on May 27, 1952, the son of late Mavis and Earl Gordee. After graduation, he moved to Eau Claire and started his family there. Later, he continued life near Madison where he spent time cruising the Lake Side neighborhood in his golf cart.

He is survived by his son, Bradley (Jackie) Gordee of McFarland, daughter Monica (Brandon) Clemens of Poynette, five grandchildren, and sisters, Diane Shuman of Washington State and Brenda (Bob) Dieringer of Marshfield, WI.

Visitation will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette on Monday, July 16, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Dekorra Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery in Poynette with Pastor Ryan Rouse officiating.
