Roselyn McWilliams PORTAGE -- Roselyn Clare McWilliams, age 95, of Portage, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena. Rose was born on April 15, 1914, in Madison, the daughter of Edwin and Clara (Doyle) Clements. She married Jack McWilliams on May 30, 1940 at St. Bernard’s in Madison. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2004. Faith and family were the most important part of Rose’s life. Rose is survived by her nine children, John E. (Jude) McWilliams, Portage, Mary (Mike) Underkofler, Portage, Joseph F. (Deborah) McWilliams, Cottage Grove, Mike (Marilyn) McWilliams, Madison, Eileen “Dutch” (Mike) Flegle, Three Lakes, Margaret (Robert Halstead) McWilliams, Portage, Jim (Deanne) McWilliams, New York, NY, Rosy (Jim) Bartells, Three Lakes, and Joanie (Paul) Ferman, Bay Village, OH; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Katherine Moore, Texas, Elsie McWilliams, Madison, and Lorraine McWilliams, Prairie du Chien; a brother-in-law, Alvin Hoene of Madison, and wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, her daughter, Ann McWilliams, her granddaughter, Patty Ann McWilliams, and eight brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 311 W. Wisconsin St., Portage. The family would like to acknowledge with thanks the kind, loving, and compassionate care provided by the staff at Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena.
