Dorothy J. “Dottie” Piont

PARDEEVILLE  /  PORTAGE  -- Dorothy J. “Dottie” Piont, age 68, of Pardeeville, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at her home.

Dorothy was born on December 7, 1940 in the Township of Warner, Greenwood, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Mary (Bolf) Mickett.  She had worked in sales.  Dorothy was married to Francis “Frank” Piont on June 22, 1991. 

She is survived by three children, Deborah Baron, Madison, David (Renee) Baron, New Berlin, and Daniel (Lynn) Baron, Knob Noster, Missouri;  three grandchildren, Nathaniel Baron, New Berlin, Megan Baron, New Berlin, and Jessica Baron, New Berlin;  her sisters and brothers, Alice (Claude) Benzschawel, Thorp, Beverly (Eugene) Benzschawel, Thorp, William (Mildred) Mickett, Jr., Stanley, WI, and Robert (Nancy) Mickett, Greenwood, WI;  other near relatives and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank, and twin sons at birth.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Inurnment will be private.
