Helen Jo Binicki

 

POYNETTE  --  Helen Jo Binicki, age 57, of Columbia Health Center, died on Saturday morning, April 17, 2010 at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital in Portage, due to complications from pneumonia and multiple sclerosis.

Helen was born on May 13, 1952 in Chicago, the daughter of Stan and Shirley (Priday) Binicki.  Helen worked for the Kodak Company, as well as Guardian Photo in Illinois.

Survivors include her son, Carl (Jennifer), Indiana;  her daughter, Dena, Colorado;  two grandsons;  two granddaughters;  her sister, Brenda (Kim) Sopha, Poynette;  her dear friend, Charolotte Oliver and family;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Nancy Bongard.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Private inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, at a later date.

The family would like to thank all the caring care takers that took such wonderful care of Helen while she lived in Wisconsin.  Special thanks to the staff at Care Wisconsin, Columbia Healthcare and Divine Savior ICU nurses.
