Grant A. Gauger

TOWNSHIP OF PACKWAUKEE  -- Grant A. Gauger, age 66, of the Township of Packwaukee, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital in Portage.

Grant was born on July 12, 1943 in Horicon, Wisconsin.  He was a self-employed painting contractor for 30 years.  Grant had worked for the Wisconsin Conservation Dept. during his high school years, and loved the outdoors.  He raised homing pigeons.

He is survived by his sons, Michael W. Gauger, Oconomowoc, and Mark W. Gauger, Montello;  his best friend, Dean Bauknecht, Montello;  other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Ellen Zephry.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Buffalo Community Bible Church, with the Rev. Victor Hillestad officiating.  Inurnment will be private.
