Harold L. Prucha

POYNETTE  -- Harold L. Prucha, age 66, of Poynette, died suddenly on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital in Portage.

Harold was born on March 29, 1944 in Madison the son of Jerry and Agnes (Holak) Prucha. He graduated in 1962 from the Poynette High School. Harold farmed and worked at Lewiston Corporation in Portage for 20 years and also owned Prucha’s Repair in Poynette. Harold married Bonita Leatherberry on May 18, 1968. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, just being outdoors, playing cards and having coffee with his buddies. He especially enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Bonita (Leatherberry) Prucha;  sons, Gary and Stacy (Anaker) Prucha, Lodi, Craig and Ginger Prucha, Poynette; daughter, Kristen Jo and Josh (Klein) Prucha, Verona; grandchildren, Maysn Prucha, Owen Prucha and Ramsay Klein; sisters, Evelyn Stafford, South Beloit, IL,  Helen (Art) Anhalt, DeForest; many nieces and nephews; other near relatives and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Prucha and brother-in-law Bob Stafford.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Lodi Presbyterian Church in Lodi, with Blake Severson officiating. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.
