Chloe Anne Gessner

PORTAGE  -- Chloe Anne Gessner, age 17 months, died on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. 

Chloe was born on July 28, 2009, the daughter of Sara Gessner.  She liked music and liked to dance.  Chloe had a very bubbly personality. 

She is survived by her mother, Sara (Tyler Jackson) Gessner, Fond du Lac; her grandparents, Jon and Maureen Gessner, Montello; her great-grandparents, Keith and Margaret Bracewell, Portage, and Edward and Lura Gessner, Endeavor; her aunt, Laura (Michael Drabek) Gessner, Waukesha; her great-aunts and great uncles, Sheila (John Sainz) Bracewell, Ed (Kathy) Gessner, Jr., Tom (Jeanette) Gessner, Jackie (Bob) Page, Jamie (Pat) Gessner, and Gus (Dawn) Gessner, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the medical and nursing staff at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee, for their help and support.

Special thanks to the staff at Wisconsin Donor Network.  Through Chloe’s donation three lives were helped.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established in Chloe’s honor.
