Calvin C. Tomlinson

PORTAGE  -- Calvin C. Tomlinson, age 83, of Portage, formerly of Poynette, died on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital in Portage. 

Calvin was born in Poynette, on December 25, 1926, the son of Cecil and Marie (Kaschinske) Tomlinson.  He married Rose Marie Bitney on November 6, 1948.  Calvin worked at the State Game Farm (Mackenzie Center) in Poynette for 43 years.     

Calvin is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Tomlinson, Portage; his sons, Bob (Karol) Tomlinson, Poynette, and Gary (Cindy) Tomlinson, Poynette; his grandchildren, Kari (Jim) Langkamp, Portage, Wayne (Laura) Tomlinson, Evergreen, CO, and Eric Tomlinson, Madison; his great-grandchildren, Graham Langkamp, and Anne E. Langkamp, both of Portage; a brother, Victor (Jackie) Tomlinson, Poynette, a sister-in-law, Nellie Thiessen, Neshkoro, other relatives and many close friends.  Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ethel Steckl, and Marjorie Morauske, and two brothers, Phillip and Maynard Tomlinson.   

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the Mackenzie Center in Poynette, with Rev. Dick Inglett officiating.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 until the time of the service at the Mackenzie Center.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established by the family.
