Phyllis “Penny” Lippitt Harper

PORTAGE –  Phyllis “Penny” Lippitt Harper, age 91, of Portage, died on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Northview Gardens in Portage.

Phyllis was born on December 11, 1919, in Camborne, Cornwall, England, the daughter of John Thomas and Olivia (Pidwell) Pengelly. 

Penny is survived by her daughter, Lesleigh Lippitt, Merrimac; her son, Loren Lippitt, Portage; and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Louis F. Pengelly, and E. Farrell Pengelly, and the father of her children, Harvey Lippitt.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2011, between 4pm and 6pm at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Inurnment will be held in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo following the visitation. Friends are welcome.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in Phyllis’ name.
