Timothy Cleary

 

BRIGGSVILLE –Timothy H. Cleary, age 70, of Briggsville, passed away at his home, with his brother by his side, on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. 

He was born on February 16, 1941 in Portage, the son of Clifford Joseph and Mary Hannah (Donnelly)  Cleary.  Tim farmed his whole life, with his brother.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Briggsville.  Tim was a baseball and football fan, and loved to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Tim is survived by his brother, Patrick Cleary, Briggsville;  other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Briggsville, with Fr. Jim Murphy presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Briggsville.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
