Hedy M. Maloney

 

PORTAGE –  Hedy M. Maloney, age 83, a 53 year resident of Portage, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home.

Hedy was born on May 17, 1929 in Linz, Austria.  She was married to Daniel Maloney, and on June 21, 2012 they celebrated 54 years of marriage.  Hedy worked at Maloney’s Jewelry with her husband for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel;  three nieces, Marcy Maloney, Hartford, WI, Nancy Maloney, Hartford, and Kerry (Jim) Okonek, Hartford;  her nephew, Stacy (Annette) Maloney, New Berlin;  her sister-in-law, Sally Maloney, Hartford;  and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Walter, Leo, and Karl.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. Denise Cole officiating.  Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
