Adeline M. Moulton

PORTAGE – Adeline M. Moulton, age 92, went home to our Lord surrounded by her family on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena.

Adeline was born on March 10, 1919 in Portage, the daughter of Otto and Clara (Peterson) Helmann. She married Albert J. Moulton on September 2, 1939 in Dubuque, Iowa. Adeline was a long time member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Portage. She enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, camping in Briggsville and playing Polish poker.  But most of all she loved being with her family; she loved family gatherings. Adeline just loved life.

Adeline is survived by her, children, Sandy (Charles) McMahon, Portage, Tom (Jeanne) Moulton, Cambria, Kent “Buck” (Linda) Moulton, Baraboo, Judy Lochner, Portage;  grandchildren, Tonya (Jeff Collins) Friess, Denver, CO, Abby (Paul) Voswinkel, Glen Ellyn, Il, Larry (Kelly) Moulton, Pardeeville, Mike Moulton, Madison, Corie (Skylar) Baxter, Oxford, Bobbie (Billy) Litton, Myrtle Beach, SC, Eric (Kayla Donahue) Jahn, Baraboo; great-grandchildren, Clara, Julia, Ashlee, Alex, Kelsey, Joshua, Justin, Amanda and Logan; sister, Helen Thompson, Portage; special nieces, Sharon (Jack) Hernandez, Portage, Donna (Jack) Duncan, Omaha, NE; , other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her  husband, Albert, her parents, Clara and Otto, brother, Earl Helmann, aunt, Ella Holl, and brother-in-law, Roy Thompson.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage with Pastor Vicki Warren officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Silver Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the Columbia Health Care Center Willow Court for taking such good care of our Mom.

We will always remember her special smile, robust laugh and her unique sense of humor.
