Priscilla Ann “Pat” Hoyheim

POYNETTE  --  Priscilla Ann “Pat” Hoyheim, age 73, of Poynette, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her home in Poynette.

Pat was born on February 11, 1940, in Edgerton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Burton and Leah (Freeland) Higley.  She married Arnstein Hoyheim on November 25, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on September 8, 2007.  Pat ran a Day Care for many years and loved every single one of her day care kids.  She enjoyed bowling, throwing horseshoes, and loved playing cards.  Pat also loved to cook and entertain friends and family.  There was always a party at the Hoyheim house.

She is survived by her children, Pamala (Scott) Mynuk, Bethlehem, PA, Brian Hoyheim, Poynette, Lori  (Jerry) Karls, Dane, Darren Hoyheim, Harmony Grove, and Kari Hoyheim, Guttenberg, IA;  two grandchildren, Halley Olson, Madison, and Hunter Hoyheim, Poynette; two step-grandchildren, Nick (Devin O’Neil) Mynuk, Madison, and Joe Mynuk, San Diego, CA;  her sisters and brothers, Leone (Robert) Pearson, Warrens, Betty (Leon) Brickl, Rochelle, IL, Ray (Marlene) Higley, Poynette, Gary (Janette) Higley, Waldo, Cheryl (Richard) Arfmann, Crosby, TX, and Judy (Chuck) Grotzke, Princeton; her sister-in-law, Joyce Higley, Sparta;  also many nieces, nephews, and other family in the United States and Norway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arnstein, her sisters, Audrey and Cathy, and her brother, Harland.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, with the Rev. Marion Hendrickson officiating.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
