James H. Redd

JUNEAU  --  James H. Redd, age 73, died on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. 

Jim was born on May 17, 1940 in Greenville, South Carolina, the son of Stella Leona Redd.  Jim served his country in the United States Navy.  He married Shelby Sawyer on December 18, 1960.  Jim enjoyed going to the Badger Steam shows and flea markets.  He had worked as an electrician and as a machinist.   

He is survived by his sons, James (Tammy) Redd, Spartanburg, SC, David Redd, Portage, and Paul Redd, Spartanburg, SC; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; a very special friend Mary Sperle, Fox Lake, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella, his wife, Shelby, and his son, William “Billy” Redd.
