Bernice E. Tyler

POYNETTE – Bernice E. Tyler, age 77, of Poynette, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.

Bernice was born on January 24, 1936 in Minnesota, the daughter of William and Harriet (Whittler) Linder. She married Martin Tyler in Prairie Du Chien on January 24, 1955. Bernice was an active member of the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Poynette. She loved spending time with her family, making crafts and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Martin, Poynette; her children, Marty (Cathy) Tyler, DeForest, Steve (Doreen) Tyler, Sleepy Eye, MN and Diana (Jeff) Larson, Middleton; grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Jenny, Jennifer, Jeremy, Tina, Emily, Cassandra and Courtney;  numerous other friends and family.

Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette. Inurnment will be private.   

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Poynette.
