Poynette -  Elnora Templin, 90, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

Elnora was born on September 2, 1922 in the Township of Lewiston, the daughter of Ernest and Louise Simonson.  She worked at the Portage Shoe Factory and Arlington Canning Co.  Elnora worked in retail for 20 years between Keith's store and manager of TownMart in Poynette.

She married Clarence Templin in April of 1947 and resided in Poynette for 64 years.  Elnora was a dedicated, active member of Poynette Inch United Methodist Church and charter member of Poynette United Methodist Women.  Elnora loved spending time with family, flowers, gardening, crafts and antiques.  She was a kind and gentle soul.   She had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Clarence Templin, in 1981;  her devoted son, Rollie Templin in 1997; her mother, Louise Simonson, in 2003.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by two daughters, Shirley (David) Nelson, Lake Delton, and Loralee (Larry) Kaschinske, Castle Pines, Colorado; a son, Robert (Diane) Templin, Poynette; her loving sister, Jennette (Marvin) Poulik, Madison.  Grandchildren;  Jeffrey Templin; Steven, Devin and Jordan Kaschinske;  Tim Conner (Jennie), Michael (Cheri) Nelson, Kristin (Darrin) Siembal, and Rick Nelson.  Eleven Great-grandchildren and three Great-Great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Poynette Inch United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sue Lewan and Rev. Sharon Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Lodi.  A celebration of life luncheon will follow at Poynette Village Hall.  Friends and relatives are invited and may call on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Poynette Inch United Methodist Church.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.
