June A. Miller

PORTAGE – June A. Miller, age 77, of Portage, passed away on January 13, 2013 at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital.

June was born on January 31, 1935 in the Township of Lewiston, at the family home, the daughter of Leonard and Ruth (Rose) Hamele.  She was married to Robert “Bob” Miller on June 4, 1955.  June had worked at many restaurants in the area as second cook.

She is survived by her husband, Bob;  two children, Robert J. Miller, North Carolina and Laurie (Eric) Humphreys, Middleton;  three grandchildren, Brandy Miller, Washington, Benjamin (Denise) Miller, Texas, and Heather Humphreys, Middleton;  four great-grandchildren, Riley, Cayden, Liam, and Lexis;  five brothers and sisters, William (Jean) Hamele, Portage, Jeannette (Edwin) Zagzebski, Schofield, Joyce (Charles) Sheets, Aqua Dulce, CA, Larry Hamele, Briggsville, and Kenneth (Lynn) Hamele, Omaha, NE;  other near relatives and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Warren and Bob.

Private family graveside services will be held at Silver Lake Cemetery.
