Lou Ann Anecki

OXFORD/MADISON  –  Lou Ann Anecki, age 73, of Oxford, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Tivoli.

Lou Ann was born on June 25, 1942 in Madison, the daughter of Robert and Velma (Lassig) Norberg.  She married John Anecki on October 30, 1965 in the Town of Westport in Dane County. Lou Ann worked 35 years for the Mendota Mental Health Institute as a forensic registered nurse. They lived in Madison and raised their two daughters, retired and they then moved to Oxford in August 2000. She loved cooking, knitting, bird watching as well as watching the Packers and Brewers.

She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Joy (Bill) Chadwick, Portage, and Hope (Jim) Kollath, Portage; two granddaughters, the loves of her life, Emily and Hannah Kollath;  brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Dee Anecki, Madison; two nieces, Mary Jo and Donna; and many, many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private service will be held with immediate family and close friends.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
