Carol Asnien

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA  --  Carol Asnien, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 at Evans Healthcare Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

Carol was a mainstay in Portage for several years and often entertained company and cooked for friends and neighbors from her home on West Carroll Street.

Carol was born on June 18, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Morris and Rebecca (Berman) Asnien. She is survived by her two sons, Erik (Wendy) Stafford and Zachary (Jill) Stafford; her grandchildren Rowan and Evan Stafford; her brother, Eugene Asnien; her three sisters, Naomi Parish, Phyllis Asnien, and Sandy Lustgarten; and many brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Private services will be held. The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, please send stories and memories of Carol to the family:
