Judith L. “Judy” Snowden

PORTAGE  --  Judith L. “Judy” Snowden, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Tivoli, in Portage.

Judy was born on December 14, 1942 in Portage, the daughter of Warren and Grace (Hauer) Dunn.  Judy graduated from Portage high school and received her nursing degree from Mt. Sinai in Milwaukee.  She was employed as a Registered Nurse for 40 years at Divine Savior Hospital.  Judy enjoyed reading, and family and friends were very important to her, she loved to go out to eat and to go shopping.     

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Susan) Snowden; her daughter, Kristine (Cary) Wianecki; her grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Kelsey Wianecki; her brother, John (Cindy) Dunn; her sister, Sally (Richard) Lillie, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Blanche and Herbert Hauer, and her parents, Warren and Grace Dunn.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. Gloria Stubitsch officiating.  Private inurnment will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
