Frank George Budka

PARDEEVILLE – Frank George Budka, Jr., age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, surrounded by his loving family.

Frank was born on July 23, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frank and Pauline (Szybowski) Budka, Sr. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and then married Susan Palombo on July 7, 1984, in Lansing, Illinois. He was an adjutant for the American Legion Post 215 and an active member at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Frank enjoyed woodworking, especially scroll work.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Budka; children, Bryan (Michelle) Budka, Wendy (Randy) Tomlinson, Tammy (Johnny) Budka-Gabbard, Kevin (Heather) Budka; grandchildren, Brittany and Tyler Budka, Collin and Kyle Tomlinson, Amber and JJ Gabbard; sister, Sandra Connor; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Evangelical Church in Portage, Wisconsin, on Monday, December 5, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Greg Hovland officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette. Military honors will be provided by the Pardeeville American Legion Post 215. Visitation will be at the church on December 5 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Health United Hospice, 915 12th St., Baraboo, WI 53913.
