Dawn R. Ohnesorge

POYNETTE  --  Dawn R. Ohnesorge, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2015 at Tivoli in Portage.

Dawn was born on September 27, 1937, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Clark and Alice (Tennyson) Teeter.  She married Merle Ohnesorge on October 4, 1958.  Dawn had worked for several years in the Poynette School System and later was a bookkeeper for Lyco Manufacturing in Columbus.  Dawn had curled at the Poynette Curling Club and enjoyed going to the Casino.  Her greatest enjoyment was visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Leeds.

She is survived by her husband, Merle Ohnesorge, of Poynette; her children, Barb (Roy) Wolfgram, of Poynette, Mitch (Gloria) Ohnesorge, of Waunakee, and Renee (Bill) Ince, of Novi, Michigan; nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her brother Dean (Sue) Teeter, of Poynette, other near relatives and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.              

Per Dawn’s wishes, funeral services will be private. The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Poynette Library.
