Jaime J. “Jay” Penaflor, Jr.

PORTAGE  --  Jaime J. “Jay” Penaflor, Jr., age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Divine Savior Healthcare hospital in Portage.

Jaime was born on May 19, 1979 in Katsina, Kaduna State, Nigeria, the son of Dr. Jaime R. and Florence (Ello) Penaflor, Sr.  He was a creative innovator and his work and designs touched many people.  He was employed as a Creative at the Apple Store. 

He is survived by his partners, Jerrid Michael Luebke, and Christopher Aguiniga, of Sun Prairie; his parents, Dr. Jaime and Florence Penaflor, of Westfield; his brother, Louie (Ashley) Penaflor, of Windsor; his sister, Krystal Penaflor of Westfield; his grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins in the Philipines, New Jersey, New York, California, Canada and Australia, and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Ceasar, his Grandparents, Sergio and Petra Penaflor, and his aunt and uncle, Romeo and Milagros.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portage.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the church, with Words of Remembrance at 12:45 p.m.
