Lisa A. Williams

BARABOO – Lisa A. Williams, age 63, of Baraboo, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. 

Lisa was born on December 7, 1952, in Portage, the daughter of Carleton Carl and Ethel (Moravek) Kassner.  She graduated from Portage High School in 1971.  Lisa married Richard Williams on June 6, 1992.  She had worked as a caregiver for Home Instead.  Lisa was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lewiston Township where she served as the treasurer for the Mary-Martha Circle. 

She is survived by her husband Richard Williams of Baraboo; her parents, Carleton Carl Kassner, of Wisconsin Dells, and Ethel Clark of Reedsburg; her brother and sisters, Debbie (William) Masters and Kurt (Patti) Kassner, both of Wisconsin Dells, and Kimberly Kassner of Reedsburg; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Arlene Winchell and her father-in-law, Leland Williams.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lewiston Township, with Rev. William Grimm officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Inurnment will be held in the Spring of 2017 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lewiston Township.
