John Dilley

PARDEEVILLE – John Dilley, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 15, 2017.

John was born on October 27, 1958, in Portage, Wisconsin, the son of John and Leila (Guist) Dilley. He married the love of his life, Patricia Weyh, on March 31, 1979. He worked at Covance for 30 years. John loved life. He was very proud of his kids and grandkids, always a silly dad and grandpa who loved to play. He enjoyed rooting for the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, as well as playing horseshoes, fishing and hunting for deer, turkey, and morels.

He is survived by his wonderful wife, Patti; daughters, Sandy (Luke) Moulis, Theresa (Ryan) Balsiger; parents, John and Leila Dilley; grandchildren, Hayden and Kipton Moulis, Bexton, Everett and Wilder Balsiger; siblings, Diane (Gary) Mayr, Linda Dilley, Dan (Shirley) Dilley, Sara (Rick) Holmes; in-laws, Joyce and Don Crawford; Pam (Ken) Hammond, Bruce (Carla Dee) Weyh, Denny (Julie) Crawford, JoAnne (Greg) Hohensee, Donna (Lyle) Powers, Jane (Ron) Beloungy; beloved nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Paxton; niece, Amanda Mayr; and father-in-law, Virgil Weyh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home (www.pmmfh.com) in Portage, Wisconsin, on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dave Hankins officiating. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lewiston Township at a later date. Visitation will be at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Due to allergies, the family requests no flower donations.

The family would like to thank the Divine Savior Dialysis Team for their care and support, as well as the many doctors and nurses John had throughout his care.
