Dusan “Duke” Szudor

DeForest – Dusan “Duke” Szudor, 40, of DeForest, passed away as the result of a car accident on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

Duke was born on July 1, 1977, in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, the son of Ondrej and Helena (Jakubiková) Szudor. He graduated from New York State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. He married Kvetoslava “Flower” Janesova on December 29, 2000, in Portage. Duke was the owner and an IT Consultant for DSIT Consulting. He was very dedicated to his work but also loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hockey, tennis, and coaching his son’s hockey team as well as riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Flower Janesova and their children, Michael and David Szudor, all of DeForest; his parents, Ondrej and Helena Szudor, Slovakia; sister, Iveta Pankova of Slovakia; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, Wisconsin, on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be at St. Olaf Cemetery in Deforest.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
