Brittney M. Griffey

 

PORTAGE  --  Brittney M. Griffey, age 17, died on Sunday, December 11, 2011 as the result of an automobile accident. 
 
Brittney was born on February 18, 1994, in Baraboo, the daughter of Stephen and Patricia (Wolff) Griffey.  She graduated from the Building Trades Apprenticeship Program through Renewal Unlimited. 

Brittney is survived by her daughter, Maci Lynn Kathleen Griffey; her father, Stephen Griffey, Portage, her brothers, Matthew (Kristen Genrich) Griffey, and Brandon Griffey; her sisters, Megan (Brandon) Lange, and Danielle Griffey, all of Portage; a special friend, Cassandra Achterberg, other relatives and many friends.  Brittney was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Griffey in October of 2008.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 17, 2011at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Rev. David Hankins officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be private in Oak Grove Cemetery.
