Patricia A. Foust

RHINELANDER – Patricia A. Foust, age 79, of Tomahawk, formerly of Portage, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander.

Patricia was born on January 16, 1940, in Dousman, the daughter of Harold and Dawn (Spicer) Payne.   Patricia was a fantastic cook, especially her delicious soups and desserts.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and fishing.  Patricia was an avid bowler and loved watching NASCAR.  Jeff Gordon was her favorite driver.  A favorite pastime was bumming around with her friend, Marion.  To her family and friends she was known as the Queen of Christmas and Christmas Decorations for the wonderful displays she created every year inside and outside her home in Portage.

She is survived by her sons, Claude (Gina Wolter) Houk and Mike (Tina) Houk; her grandchildren, Aaron Houk and Shyanne Houk; her best bumming partner, Marion Licitar, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert Houk and her second husband, William Foust.  

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl presiding.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
