Arliene C. Olson

PORTAGE – Arliene C. Olson, age 92 passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Our House Senior Living in Portage. 

Arliene was born on January 9, 1927, in Cross Plains, the daughter of William and Carrie (Scheele) Schultz. She was a Green Bay Packers fan, loved playing Bingo, and was often a lucky winner.  Arliene was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help.     

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (William) Kidd, of Pardeeville; her son, William Smythe, of Arizona; her step-daughter, Ruthann (Ron) Snow, of Madison; her grandchildren, Jenny Reddemann, of Madison, Lindy (Kevin) Wiesmann of Cambridge, Jeffrey Kidd, of Beaver Dam, Carrie (Gary) Parman, of DeForest and Rick (Heather) Smythe, of Arizona; several great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Ralph Smythe and Norm Olson, her son Ralph Smythe, Jr., her grandson, Robbie Smythe, her great-grandson, Clayton William Parman and her brother and sister-in-law, Neal and Joyce Schultz.   

At Arliene’s request there will be no services.

The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
