J Frederick Dorn

 

POYNETTE  --  J Frederick Dorn, age 45, of Poynette, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2008.

Memorial services will be held at11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2008 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Poynette, with Fr. Raymond Dischler officiating.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. A gathering will be held at Arlington Inn following the services. The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.

J Dorn was born on November 25, 1963 in Madison, the son of William Michael and LaVonne Theresa (Berry) Dorn.  He had lived with his cousin, Paul Dorn.  J enjoyed auto mechanics, motorcycles and playing cribbage. 

He is survived by his children, Saphire Dorn and Chief Dorn, both of Madison;  his sister and brothers, Rae (Rob) Parpart, Arlington, Billy (Joan) Dorn, Pittsburgh, PA, Allen Dorn, Portage, and Mark (Mary)
Dorn, Pardeeville; his grandson, Dillon Dorn;  many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews;  other relatives and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Megan, and a sister, Carole Decorah.
