Betty J. Paskey

POYNETTE  --  Betty J. Paskey, age 71, died on December 13, 2010, at Caring Hearts Assisted Living, in Poynette.

Betty was born on July 30, 1939, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Ruth (Headley) Cabor.  She was married to Clarence Paskey for 34 years.  Betty had been employed at the Rathskeller, the Jamison House, and the Gables in Poynette.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Paskey, Poynette; her children Mary (Aron) Lombard, Poynette, Debbie (Brian) Tollison, Portage, and Scott (Debra) Wagner, Poynette; her grandchildren, Anthony, Courtney, and Heather Tompkins, and Amanda, Melissa, Angie and Emmi Lou Tollison, her great-grandson, Ayden Schultz; her sisters, Beverly Krenz, and Barbara Duncan, her brothers, John, Fred, Donald and Joe Cabor; her step-children, Steven, Dennis, Michael, and Neil Paskey, and Corrine Dettman, Shelly Burke, Kristine Gessner, Jacqueline Ludwig, and Sharon Putman, other relatives and many friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Cabor, her grandsons, Brandon Paskey, and Jacob Ludwig, her sister, Ruth Churuvia, and her brother, Edward Cabor, Jr.

At Betty’s request there will be no funeral services.  A memorial will be held at a later date.

It may be hard today to see beyond the sorrow, but looking back in memory may help comfort you tomorrow.
