Diane R. Falk

POYNETTE  --  Diane R. Falk, age 63, of Poynette, died on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Meriter Hospital in  Madison.

Diane was born on February 28, 1948, in Clintonville, the daughter of Ray and Gertrude (Beyer) Steenbock.  She married Thomas Falk on September 17, 1988, at Bonnet Prairie Lutheran Church, in Rio.  Diane loved fishing, gardening, flowers, cooking, and the Green Bay Packers.  She had been employed as a department manager at Walmart in Portage for 19 years.         

Diane is survived by her husband, Tom Falk, Poynette; her sons, Jon Kiermas, and his children, Jessica         , and Kyle, Pardeeville, and Cory Kiermas, Pardeeville; her step-sons, Dave Falk, Poynette, and his children, Brandon and Kyle, and Greg (Ellen) Falk, Poynette, and their children, Emma and Dylan; her step-grandchildren, Jennifer and Jacob Kutz; her brothers Stan (Dian) Steenbock, Covington, LA,  Randy (Diane) Steenbock, and Gerald  “Butch” (Jane) Steenbock, both of Green Bay; her sisters, Lori (Jim) Hermann, Shawano, and Sherry Kerstner, Bowler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Diane was preceded in death by her parents, and her step-daughter, Elizabeth Kutz.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Bonnet Prairie Lutheran Church, N3694 Old Road F, Rio, WI 53960, with Rev. Joan Marie Wittrock officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later date.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service, at the church.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.
