Robert J. Lytle

 

PORTAGE – Robert J. Lytle, age 79, died on Monday, November 14, 2011, at University Hospital in Madison. 

Bob was born on May 26, 1932 in Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Arthur Patrick and Helen Eldora (Hauglid) Lytle. He was married on September 7, 1952 to Arlene Atkinson in Los Angeles, California.  Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and making bird houses. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Arlene of 59 years;  three sons, William of Florida, Thomas of Portage and Timothy (Renie) of Virginia;  his daughter, Cynthia (Robin) Kottwitz of Portage;  several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;  two brothers and one sister.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sons, Patrick and Franklin.

Private family services will be held.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
