John A. Baumann

 

PORTAGE  --  John A. Baumann, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at American Way in Portage. 

John was born on July 24, 1928 in Marshfield, the son of Alphonse and Grace (Ebby) Baumann. He married Betty May Wolfe in July of 1950. John enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling.          

He is survived by his wife, Betty, Portage; his children, John Baumann, Pewaukee and Kristine Scheinoha, Westport, Kentucky; other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Portage with, Pastor Dan Pulsfus officiating.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
