Judith L. Eichorst

POYNETTE  --   Judith L. Eichorst, age 77, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home in Dekorra Township.                        . 

Judith was born on December 4, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of Luther and Lucille (Runion) Penland.  She was married to Donovan A. Eichorst, he preceded her in death in 1992.  Judith worked at Portage Cleaners for many years.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.               
She is survived by her children, Kathy Hayes of Poynette, and Steve (Cheryl Chapman) Eichorst, of Dekorra Township; her granddaughter, Nicole Hayes; her sister, Carolyn (Larry) Mullins, of Tennessee; her brothers, Everett (Joyce) Penland, of Dekorra Township, and Dwight (Sharon) Penland, of Oklahoma, other relatives and many dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Bruce Penland..

A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the family home, W8479 Oshaukuta Rd., Poynette, WI 53955.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.              

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, or a local food pantry of your choice.
