Donna J. Ridgeway

PORTAGE  --  Donna J. Ridgeway, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Columbia Healthcare Center in Wyocena.. 

Donna was born on May 4, 1929 in Portage, the daughter of Stanley and Florence (Jevens) Wheeler. She loved her job as a caregiver, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Donna was a member of the St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Portage.

She is survived by her children, John (Libby) Harmon, Cynthia (Stephen) Polnow, Ross (Lorri) Connell and Scott (Peggy) Connell; grandchildren, Christopher Harmon, Matt (Victoria) Harmon, Amy (Andy Benoy) Polnow, Megan (Matthew) Manthey, Rebecca (Steve Pionke) Polnow, Marli (Thomas) Schwartz, Erin Connell and Allison Connell; great-grandchildren, Ian and Emily Harmon, Willa Manthey, Brody and Maxson Pionke; sister, Clarella Boggs; brother, Herbert Wheeler; sister-in-law, Lucille Wheeler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald R. Ridgeway, brother, Robert Wheeler, and brother-in-law, Denver Boggs.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Portage, with the Father Scott Seefeldt officiating.  Inurnment will be in Pacific Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
