Ronald Hamilton

PORTAGE – Ronald Hamilton, age 29, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Ronnie was born on November 6, 1986, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Ronald JR and Jane Marie (Taylor) Hamilton. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Ho Chunk Casino. Ron was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was recently sponsored by Rocky Run Camo Scents. The sun rose and set around his mini—me, Peyton Rae.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Taylor of Ladysmith; daughter, Peyton Rae Hamilton of Portage, who was his world; siblings, Meagan (Jason) Balko and Sarah Stibak, both of Ladysmith, Justin Hamilton of Portage, Elizabeth (Lance Armstrong) Hamilton of Winter, Wisconsin; special friends Royce (Sarah) Babcock of Rio, Dustin Martinson of Reedsburg, nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends; and canine companion, Nollie. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald JR Hamilton, and special friend, Mitchell Smith.

Memorial services will be at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
