Brad Lee Hendrickson

PARDEEVILLE – Brad Lee Hendrickson, age 71, of Pardeeville, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Columbia Healthcare Center.

Brad was born on Sunday the 13th in January of 1952, in Madison, the son of Roger and Natalie (Hansen) Hendrickson. He attended Poynette Schools and graduated in 1970.  During his school years, he was in Boy Scouts, Chorus, One-Act-Plays, Curling, Letterman’s Club and was Basketball Manager.  He also attended UW Steven’s Point.  Brad made many, many friends throughout the years.  He loved music, parties, family and friends and CARS! 

Brad met Gail Nelson (the love of his life!) on Halloween 1976.  They were married at Bethel Lutheran Church on June 4th, 1977, and enjoyed 46 years together.  Their first child, Trenton Ira was born December 9th, 1980, and sadly passed away at age 3 months.  Their daughter, Lacie Lynn was born the following December and twin sons, Kyle Lee and Kelly Duane arrived on December 4, 1985.  The kid’s activities kept their lives busy during their school years…. Cheerleading, Scouts, baseball, basketball, wrestling, track and cross country.  Brad also enjoyed his time with his 7 grandchildren, and teasing them about their girlfriends and boyfriend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gail Hendrickson;  their daughter, Lacie Gorde (Chaz DeMoss) of Sheboygan;  son, Kyle (Michelle) Hendrickson of Pardeeville;  son, Kelly (Missy) Hendrickson of Portage. Brad is also survived by seven grandchildren, Austin, Aayden, Kelly, Trenton, Baylan, Aveigha and Graynger;  his sisters, Cindy (Dave) Rowe, April Woodruff and Darcey (Andy Pipping);  nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and firstborn son, Trenton Ira, and many other family members and friends.  

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Whispering Pines Event Center in Poynette, with Pastor David Brynelson officiating. Inurnment will be at 4:30 p.m. on Friday in Hillside Cemetery, Poynette. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by a luncheon at Whispering Pines.

The Hendrickson Family would like to extend our gratitude towards Columbia County Health Care Center, for the wonderful care they provided the last five years and Heartland Hospice, for helping guide us through the last two years of Brad’s Care.
