Lelani S. Rogers-Luce

PORTAGE – Lelani S. Rogers-Luce, age 65, of Portage, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Lelani was born on June 7, 1958, in Mundelein, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne and Elena (Aguilar) Rogers. She was proud to be a bunny at Lake Geneva’s Playboy Clubhouse. Lelani had a big heart and cared for others by working in the medical field for many years. She then went back to school to become a Certified Medical Assistant ultimately working for UW Health Cardiology Department.  Lelani also loved riding and caring for her horses, Oliver and Edison.  She also adored her black labs, Lacey and Madison.  Lelani enjoyed riding on the back of her beloved’s motorcycle.  She cherished and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Bryan; daughters, Necole “Neco” Blackard and Bryanna (Joshua) Wojtkiewicz; grandchildren, Maxwell “Bubba” and Olivia “Lovie” Blackard; parents, Wayne and Elena; brother, Paul Rogers; sisters, Rosina Gallagher, Anita Wendie Dreger, and Amelia Hansen; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Toño Aguilar, and her sister, Jacqueline Rogers.  

A memorial visitation will be held at Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Homes in Portage, Wisconsin, Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Inurnment will be private.
