Alice was born to Wallace W. and Alzina D. (Owens) Bullen on July 30,1927.  Alice graduated from Poynette High School, where she played softball and was a member of the marching band. After high school she went to Minneapolis to train to be an airline stewardess, but ultimately ended up in Winslow, Arizona, working for the Santa Fe Railroad. Missing her family, Alice returned to Arlington to live with her parents, during which time she worked as a secretary.

Alice met her future husband, Arnold W. Wollschlager at a square dance, and the couple were united in marriage on May 24, 1952. Alice loved to spend her free time dancing, playing horseshoes and bingo, gardening, stamp and coin collecting, quilting, and participating in Volunteers in Mission. During her lifetime she drove school bus, worked at the Del Monte canning company, Badger Army Ammunition plant, and crossing guard for the children attending school at Arlington Elementary. Raising her four children was the greatest joy of her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Patrice (Don) Lynam Fitchburg, WI, and a son, Scott Wollschlager; grandchildren, Courtney (Chad) Scherr, Evanston, IL; Steven Lynam, Los Angeles, CA, Daniel (Nikki) Lynam, Fitchburg, WI, and Dustin (Paige) Wollschlager, Montello, WI; and great grandchildren Kian and Leonora Scherr, and Harlon and Waylon Wollschlager.
