Leila Dilley

PARDEEVILLE – It is with extreme sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Leila Dilley on October 25, 2024. She was surrounded by her family at Aspirus Hospital in Portage, WI.

Leila was born on July 19, 1939, the daughter of Russell and Flossy (White) Guist. She married the love of her life and beloved husband John Dilley on April 4, 1958. They lived on a farm, outside Deforest, where they raised many acres of tobacco until 1998 when they moved to Park Lake in Pardeeville, WI. Leila was an LPN for many years. She was known for her extreme love of her loved ones. She was known for giving the best sweet grandma hugs. She created the most cherished possessions including quilts, paintings, precious dresses and ceramics. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and playing cards.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Dilley, of Pardeeville; her sister, Pat Dilley, of Janesville; her children, Diane (Gary) Mayr, of Deforest, Linda Dilley, of Poynette, Dan (Shirley) Dilley, of Rio, Sara (Tim Zaemisch) Holmes, of Poynette; her daughter-in-law, Patti Dilley, of Pardeeville; her grandchildren, Sandy (Luke) Moulis, Theresa (Ryan) Balsiger, Chad (Anna) Mayr, Tracy (Teddy) Merwin, Jason (Christy) Mayr, Michael (Tara) Wagner,  Nicole (Chris) Noble, Daniel (Megan) Dilley, Rachel (Neil) Bortz, Cheyenne (Christian) Sphatt; her 17 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, John Dilley; her brothers, Ralph Guist and Clyde Guist; sisters, Beverly King and Comilla Colson; granddaughters, Michelle Wagner, and Amanda Mayr; and 4 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Leeds Town Hall, N1485 Pribbenow Dr, Arlington, WI. Inurnment will be private. Food will be provided.
