Kelly Sue Goodwin

PORTAGE – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Sue Goodwin, age 61, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in Portage, WI, with her loving husband by her side.

Kelly was born on July 3, 1963, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Don and Sharon (Sundstrom) Taylor. Kelly was very athletic throughout her life. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, darts, bags, and much more.  She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. She also loved her Kitties.

Kim and Kelly met on June 14, 2000, and were married on June 14, 2002. Kelly is survived by her husband and best friend, Kim; children, Erin (John) Ingram, Leah (Mike) Korsberg, and Neil Suess; step-children, Michael Goodwin and Tonisha Daniels; sisters, Debbie (Norm) Nisius and Mona (David) Ames; brothers, Donnie (Robin) Taylor and Paul (Imogene) Taylor; Auntie Linda; "sister-cousin", Dana (Scott) Barker; grandchildren; Kyla, Xander, Rylen, Sawyer, and Dakota; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Rockford, Illinois.
