Janice J. Knight

MADISON – Janice J. Knight, age 81, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her residence in Madison.

Janice was born on January 24, 1944, in Richland Center, the daughter of Roland and Margaret (Walters) Kisting. She married Robert Knight on September 4, 1965, in Richard Center. Together they raised three children, Michelle, Robin and Patrick. She worked for Bock Corporation, in Madison, a water heater manufacturer, as a janitor.

She is survived by her children, Michelle (Jeffrey) Arentson, Sun Prairie, Robin (Dennis) Wolfe, Stoughton, and Patrick Knight, Madison; three grandchildren, James (Michelle) Wolfe, Jeffrey Arentson (Nesa Kaul), and Samuel Arentson; her brother, Michael Kisting; as well as, great grandchildren, Jase, Madelyn and Peyton; other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her two brothers, David and Ronnie Kisting.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her daughter’s house, 880 Barbara Street, Sun Prairie, WI 53590, on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.
