Karol L. Tomlinson

POYNETTE – Karol L. Tomlinson, age 72, of Poynette, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, April 25, 2025, at University Hospital in Madison.

Karol was born on August 27, 1952, in Portage, the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Lanzendorf) Thompson. She was married on June 10, 1972, to Robert Tomlinson.  Throughout her life, Karol enjoyed reading, baking, crafting, gardening, the Christmas season, and most importantly, time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; their children, Kari (Jim) Langkamp, and their children, Graham and Annie Langkamp, and Eric (Adam Pfost) Tomlinson; other relatives, and many friends.

An open house celebration of life gathering will be held at Town of Dekorra Hall, W8225 County Road JV, Poynette, on Saturday, May 17, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Poynette Public Library, the Poynette Historical Society, or a charity of your choice.
