Barbara Nancy (McDonald) Wolfgram

PORTAGE – Barbara Nancy (McDonald) Wolfgram, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Heritage House, in Portage.

Barb was born April 3, 1939, to Orrie and Lottie (Barton) McDonald and grew up on the family farm. She was the second youngest of seven brothers and six sisters.   She married Darwin Wolfgram on March 24, 1956. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage before his passing on January 18, 2024. While Darwin worked road construction, Barb did the farm work raising baby calves and tending to their horses.  She dedicated her life to raising her children and being a very loving mother. She enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers, Nascar Racing, and Badger Midgets, as Darwin owned one for 10 years. She will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor.  Darwin and Barb spent numerous winters at their home in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Barb is survived by her son, Boyd (Holly) Wolfgram of Pardeeville; daughter, Bobbi Kelley of Clearwater, FL; son-in-law, Dan Cummings of Westfield; grandchildren, Brody Wolfgram, and Max, Parker, Hunter, Payton, Kalista, and Kiriana Cummings, and Tyler and Davin Kelley; one brother, Donald (Myra) McDonald of Georgia; a brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Nelson of Portage; nieces, nephews, and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darwin; daughter, Jody; sisters, Jane, Sheila, Agatha “Mickie”, Patricia, Iris, and Olive; and brothers, Orriel, Maurice, Angus “Tom”, Chester, Mathew, and Phillip.

Barb’s wishes were to be remembered for the good times and at her request there will be no service.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brenda Blohm, the amazing staff at Heritage House of Portage, and Bristol Hospice-Madison, for their wonderful care and support.
