Kareen Kay (Meske) Gorman

POYNETTE / LODI – Kareen Kay (Meske) Gorman, age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Dove HealthCare, in Lodi. While her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved her, her family takes comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace.

She was married on May 25, 1954, to the late Myron “Mike” Gorman. Together they built a life on the family farm where they raised 3 sons and created generations of cherished memories.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like being outdoors with all her animals. There wasn’t one creature that she would turn away. She also enjoyed curling, cooking for her family, and especially playing cards with her grandkids. She cherished every moment with them.

She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and her signature wink. Both brought smiles to everyone and made each person feel loved.

She leaves behind her loving sons: Michael Gorman, Daniel Gorman, and Scott (Terri) Gorman, all of whom still reside on the family farm.

She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Wesley (Maddison) and Sidney (Cody); her 4 great grandchildren, Hadley, Oakley, Ridge, and Carmelo - a beautiful reminder that her legacy of love continues to grow.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dove Healthcare, in Lodi, for loving her for the last 5 years. We will never be able to thank each, and every, one of you guys enough. I know that you are sharing our sadness. Also, to Agrace Hospice, especially Heather, for showing so much compassion and love.

Per her wishes, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
